Anixi Antonakoudi
Anixi Antonakoudi is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the ICT sector. She holds a MEng (1998) and a PhD degree (2002) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College - London and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Cyprus (2021).
She has worked as a Digital Signal Processing Engineer and an Electrical Systems Consultant in the UK before joining academia-industry consortia based in Cyprus, developing and testing pilot ICT solutions for health and security applications. In 2012, she joined an international Telco organization, with operations in Cyprus, as a Products & Services Manager for managing the fixed and ICT services portfolio for Business customers. In 2017, she joined the KIOS Center of Excellence of the University of Cyprus, as the Innovation Hub Manager, to support the set-up of the Center’s Innovation Hub, offering innovative services for critical infrastructures. In 2021 she joined the Cyprus Institute, a research organization in Cyprus, to manage the activities of the Innovation Unit. In August 2023, she transferred to the Tech Services and Support Unit to further develop the service & tech transfer capabilities, establish relevant processes and policies for the labs and facilities of the organization and she has also been appointed the General Manager of the DiGiNN Hub, the European Digital Innovation Hub in Cyprus.
Anixi has contributed for four years as an external expert at the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring (GEM) report for Cyprus and has served as a mentor for two years at the Cyprus Entrepreneurship Competition (CYSEC). She is also a registered member of the Technical Advisor of the State and Citizens (ETEK).
